ThisRFTdocumentisissuedtosubcontracttheBuildingFinishing(ThirdRound)(WORK)fortheEngineering,ProcurementandConstruction(EPC)fornewNassiriyaDepotProject.
1.1ChinaPetroleumPipelineEngineeringCompanyLimited-IraqBranch(“CPP”)has,issuedthisRequestforTender(“RFT”)toselectedbidders(eacha“Bidder”)inordertoobtainbidsubmissionsinrelationtotheprojectdescribedinbriefinparagraph3belowandinmoredetailinthescopeofworksetoutinAppendix6tothisRFT(“ScopeofWork”).

1.2FollowingsubmissionoftheBids,CPPmayselectoneormoreBidder(s)toenterintoalegalagreementwithCPPintheformsetoutinAppendix**tothisRFT(“Agreement”).TheAgreementshalldetailtheScopeofWork,thetermsandconditionsandagreedfeespursuanttowhichCPPmayengagetheselectedBidder(s)toperformallorpartoftheScopeofWork.

Walls:Constructionandfinishingofbothexternalandinternalwalls.
Ramps,Walkways,andFootsteps:Constructionandfinishingoframps,walkways,andfootstepsasperdesignspecifications.
RoofandCeiling:Installationandfinishingofroofstructuresandceilingsystems.
WindowsandDoors:Supply,installation,andfinishingofwindowsanddoors.
AccessLadders:Installationofaccessladderswhererequired.
WaterSupplyandDrainageSystems:Installationandintegrationofwatersupplyanddrainagesystems.
FireFightingSystems:Installationoffirefightingsystemsincompliancewithsafetystandards.
ElectricalSystems:Installationandfinishingofelectricalsystemsandfixtures.

3.3SelectedBidderwillbeengagedtocarryouttheBuildingFinishing(ThirdRound)(WORK)fortheEngineering,ProcurementandConstruction(EPC)fornewNassiriyaDepottoenabletheconstructionofabove-mentionedwork.

3.4TheScopeofWorksistobecompletedwithinthetimeframeprovidedbyCPP.

4SUBMISSIONOFBIDDINGDOCUMENTS
4.1BiddingdocumentsshallbecomposedofTWOparts,TechnicalProposal(Un-priced)andCommercialProposal.

Ifthebidderhasanyobjectiontothetechnical,commercialrequirementsinthetenderingdocuments,thebidderisrequestedtoclarifyinwritingtotheTendereewithin7daysofreceiptofthetenderingdocuments,andnoclarificationwillbeacceptedafterthedeadline.IfnoclarificationisprovidedtotheTenderee,itwillbedeemedthatthebiddercanmeetallthetechnicalandcommercialrequirements.TheTendereehastherighttorejectthedeviationitemspointedbyBidderandregardthebiddingdocumentsasunqualified.

4.5Beforethedeadlineindicatedabove,theBidderisentitledtorequesttheTendereetocheckwhethertheproposalshavebeensuccessfullydeliveredtotheassignedemailaddressbysendingtheemailtotheundersign.
4.6Before3daysaheadofthedeadlineindicatedabove,theBidderisentitledtorequesttheTendereetopostponethedeadlinefornomorethan7daysintotalincaseofpuzzles/difficultieshappeningtothevendorsforpreparingthebiddingdocuments.
