Invitation for Bid

1. Project name: Design and Build of Ts’ehlanyane Adit Water Release Works–Leribe District - Contract No.: LLWDP/W/** (hereinafter called ‘the Adit Project’)

2. Bidding target: The Civil and Mechanical works specified in the Main Contract of the Adit Project.

3. Scope of contracting:

1)All the work specified and described in the Main Contract;

2)Instructions and directives issued by the Employer during the construction process;

3)Auxiliary and temporary works required to complete the main contract, including but not limited to temporary facilities, water supply, power supply, security, roads, and coordination with local communities;

4)Implementation and continuous compliance with all health and safety requirements; implementation and continuous compliance with all environmental and social requirements;

5)Relevant surveying, trials, testing, and acceptance works carried out to complete the main contract works;

6)Rectification of defects during the defect liability period as stipulated in the contract.

4. Acquisition of tender documents

5. Requirements for qualification: Legally registered in Lesotho with a scope of business in the engineering field

6. Requirements for performance: The bidder has 1(one)similar project in the last 5(five)years.

7. Submission of bidding documents

(1) Bid deadline: June4, ****, **:** a.m

(2) Way of delivery: Submit the sealed envelope to the Water Supply Project Department, Leribe District, Lesotho, and submit the electronic version (editable) on a CD or USB stick.
